Invisalign at Northcliffe Dental

Our Invisalign treatment process begins with a comprehensive consultation. Dr. Ifaz or another one of our dentists will assess your teeth and discuss your treatment goals. We utilize advanced 3D imaging to create a precise treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Once your custom aligners are fabricated, you will begin wearing them for 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. You will visit our office approximately every five weeks to monitor your progress. Most Invisalign treatments take 12 to 18 months, but noticeable improvements are often seen within a few weeks.

Common FAQs

How long does Invisalign typically take?

It typically takes 12-18 months; however, the timeframe really depends on the patient's treatment plan.

How do they compare to traditional braces?

In comparison to traditional braces, Invisalign is easy to remove for daily eating, drinking, and flossing. It is made from a virtually invisible material in comparison to braces.

Do I have to wear my Invisalign trays all day?

Patients are recommended to wear their trays for at least 20-22 hours a day to prevent their teeth from shifting and keep their treatment plan moving in the right direction.

What happens when I’m finished with my Invisalign treatment?

After completing your treatment, our doctors recommend wearing a retainer every night to prevent your teeth from shifting back towards their initial position. Every set of teeth is different so our doctors may offer alternative solutions to keep your beautiful smile everlasting.
