Meet Dr. Carlos Cardenas
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Dr. Carlos Cardenas is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, comprehensive dental care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 2023 to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Florida.
Dr. Cardenas has a particular interest in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitation. His clinical experience includes cosmetic veneers, crowns and bridges, removable prosthodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and complex restorative treatment. He also embraces the latest advances in digital dentistry and 3D-printing technology to improve the precision, efficiency, and overall patient experience of treatment.
A strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Cardenas is committed to continually expanding his clinical expertise and is currently pursuing fellowships in implant dentistry and general dentistry. He is also trained in therapeutic Botox administration for patients experiencing certain headaches and temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
Dr. Cardenas believes that exceptional dentistry goes beyond treating teeth—it is about understanding each patient's goals, concerns, and individual needs. Whether a patient is looking to enhance their smile, restore their oral health, replace missing teeth, or improve their ability to eat and speak comfortably, his goal is to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cardenas enjoys playing and watching soccer, exploring cuisines from around the world, traveling, and dancing to Latin music. He is proud to call the Tampa Bay area home and looks forward to building lasting relationships with the patients and families he serves
